I just figured it would be safer to avoid the kangaroo because they’re so large its bound to cause damage?

Usually you can end up making a lot more damage to yourself and the car if you try to avoid it

Wait really? My family have been in car accidents because of hitting a deer. How would that not cause damage to you and leave the kangaroo crippled?

Someone literally just died where im at because they rode a motorcycle into a deer, it flicked them up into electrical lines and they got electrocuted.
Its a motorcycle so not a car, but still, i see it causing damage?

What I meant is, you should never risk rolling, or worse, for an animal.
Yes, it would cause some damage, and yes we all hate killing any animal, but if the thats what you're got to do you keep everyone safe that is what you have to do.
And unless its a really big roo, then they don't do that much damage.
As it was, the roo escaped, so at least it wasn't in vain.
