Is Anyone Intersted in these Bantam Breeds???

I would be interested in some of these little guys. We have recently gotten interested in the little banties. I love the self blue in anything, and have been considering getting some Mille's

The true, pure Dutch Bantam does not come in those colors here in the US. There is a breeder in Montana working with the Millie's, but her parent stock came from Holland and are pure Dutch. These other colors come from crossing OEG's in to get the different colors, so technically, they are not true, pure Dutch Bantams. Ideal carries around 18 different colors I believe, but OEG's were used to get those colors.
I have light brown, cream light brown, and blue cream light brown from a couple different breeders of pure Dutch, and have done lots of research on this breed. If you want them just as pets, then any color, even crossed with OEG, is fine.

I will have pictures up within the weekend. I have eggs coming of all these Dutch i listed and the Fleurs. I have just been busy this week and wanted to know if anyone was interested in them before I posted them on here ....thanks for all the comments. (these birds come from a really great hatchery that carry all these pure breeds.)

UPDATED 9-26-08 :: I am getting my eggs from a man that got his birds from a hatchery, so, he himself has raised them up.....HEY I GOTTA START SOMEWHERE lol....

No problem...this is the breed that kicked off my addiction, and my research of this breed taught me the differences between hatchery stock and good/pure stock. Not that there is anything wrong with hatchery stock...(don't want to start a fight here)...but there can be a huge difference in quality. It all depends on what you want to do with your birds.
Besides...my research and passion for this particular breed is how I came to be "DutchChic"

Of course, these days, "OrpChic" would work too...LOL
