Is bumble foot common? Worried about rooster!

What happened to your rooster? Yeah that's how mine is, one time he heard our dog barking at a deer he jumped off his roost (or fell) and scared that deer to death lol I honestly don't think my rooster sleeps. I can do a sneak look in there and his eyes are always wide open! He is strange! I was reading it's the heavy breeds that are most likely to suffer leg injuires ...Yes all my chickens are giving me a hard time lol
I don't think they sleep very much either. I can turn the camera on and mine seems to always be looking around, the hens are sound asleep with heads tucked in, but not him.

My big boy died last year:( Still miss him sometimes, but that's life. Have another fella that is doing a good job, so can't complain:)

So sorry for your loss :( I don't take animal death well at all. I was hoping the older I got the harder I would get, but it's the opposite, I just keep getting softer lol:idunno it must be a rooster thing then. Always on guard. My hen sings a lot in her sleep.

Thanks.
Certain ones it's hard to let them go, but you have to do what is best for them. I'd like to hear a recording of your hen singing! Does she sing like a songbird? I had a SLW that sounded like a songbird as a chick, but she stopped that as she grew older.

O.K. It's night time (here at least:)) Have you gotten a hold of that wild man yet?
