I am posting this on my three threads sorry but the last chink has gone...

This weekend I am celebrating some what.... Just got confirmation that my Cardeologist approved the Surgery and faxed the info to the Bariatric doc... Gotto love email and internet.

seeems like things are rolling along. which dually makes me and I have to keep reminding myself that I want to live another forty years....

I guess thats a big one....

Yeah. It one of my pigeons. I had to sit in the garden in just the right place for ages to get just the right shot! Then I just cropped it and framed it. I took about 30 others!

Its a very good thing. Longivity runs in my moms side of the family. I am caregiver to my Grandmother who is 102. I am 63... The deal is.... I am also 225 pounds over weight... or 16 stone over weight... its something I have struggled with most of my life. Or in other words I am Morbidly Obese.

The Bariatric surgery will removed most of my stommach. leaving about seven ounces for digestion. Thats about the size of a medium sized banana.

Here is a pciture I My mom Grandma and me... I am in the blue About four years ago. I am about 30 pounds heavier now. Its moms birthday. She had just turned eighty.

Speckle, my broody came off her eggs earlier, so I jumped in with a torch to have a quick candle. She been on them for 8 days now. Well my 2 Maran eggs don't look like they are fertile. 1 of the araucana eggs looks a bit iffy but the last 3 araucana eggs are definately fertile! (probably 3 cockerals!) I'll leave the other three for a couple more days and candle again. If there's nothing I'll remove them.

Can you usually see inside the maran eggs? Those guys are tough to get a light through. I hope you leave them in, just in case.

That's a great picture!!! I think I'll start weighing myself in stone or kilos... Sounds much better than pounds & the numbers are smaller.
