Chuck, our now amost 6 month old BR rooster, has been doing his husbandly duty (diligently, I might add!!!) for the past 2 months or so. I'm REALLY afraid to sound ignorant, but shouldn't there be a tiny blood spot in most of our eggs, if they're fertilized (we have not seen a single egg with a spot). We don't really plan to hatch any of the eggs, at this time, but I'm wondering anyway...

blood spots meaning nothing in the fertility world. When you crack an egg open you are looking for the bullseye. If you look at the top of this thread you will see a topic that says How to tell fertile from UNfertile. They are some really good pics in there.
