Is Daisy an Ameraucana?

I thought my EE was a Ameraucana she had slate gray legs that were thick and stocky. Her egg color is a blah (maybe pinkish) tan. But she’s a total love to me that’s more important. :idunno
Yeah, all of my other EEs are pretty sweet, Freya being the most tame (named after the norse goddess of beauty she's abundant with inner beauty, but otherwise she's not very eyes catching, i love her anyway of course), but of course Daisy is the most skittish. She will go out of her way to bite my ankles and scratch and puffs up her neck when i get to close, she's top of the pecking order and helps my rooster protect the other hens though so i put up with her (she also struts around like a fashion model, she knows she's gorgeous).

Okay, forgive me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Daisy have those traits? In this picture her beard and muffs are missing, they were yanked out by a predator, but she has the blue legs and pea comb and beard and muff (i don't know of the camera picked up her legs, they're blue and my others have green legs), and she lays the most beautiful baby blue eggs. Again, forgive me if I'm wrong.
Would My Pet Chicken a place that would have real ameraucanas? I'll be ordering from them next year since they offered me a free black sumatra chick, i know they offer different color varieties.
You are correct, she as a lot of the traits of a pure Ameraucana.

BUT, her color is a typical EE pattern, and isn't recognized as an Ameraucana color.

Oh okay, just wondering are there any particular traits she's missing? What exactly is an ameraucana, i would like to have one someday but don't want to end up with another EE, not that i mind i love them but I'd like a more mixed flock (if she's not an ameraucana i now have four EE's).
I have 2 Wheaten Americaunas hens I got at 2 weeks from a breeder near me. I also got Bielfelders from her. Here is a pic from yesterday of one of each. Telltale signs include the muffs, beards, coloring, and overall shape (full breast, wing placement). I totally just looked that up - I personally got them because I thought they were pretty Same with the Bielfelders lol

Yours are lovely!! How old are they? I have two blue wheaten Ameraucanas that are about 25 weeks old and are not very ‘full’ looking. They are still pretty light in the body and overall small. Their faces are starting to redden up so I hope for eggs in the next few weeks, but have you found yours to be slow to mature? I got mine from a local woman who hatches out a bunch of birds and I kind of question the quality of mine.

Also, yes, My Pet Chicken does have true Ameraucanas. They also have a lot of mixes that are called funky names, so watch out for that.
Yeah their ‘designer’ breeds really bug me. Literally mix two breeds, give it a creative name and price them at more than $20 a chick...
Just go for their purebreds.

Mine are a little over 2 years old. They are small, especially compared to my Bielfelder (I had 3 but lost 2 in a suspected racoon attack this summer )! They were born in May 2016 and I got my first egg on Christmas day My Americaunas honestly either have a huge nest hidden somewhere (and I've looked all over) or they lay very seldom. They used to each lay ever 2 days or so. They are also more skittish and flighty than my big ladies. I now have 12 chicks (Some type of red, alleged cuckoo marans, and 8 barred rocks) in the brooder. Chicken math got me good. I was sure my first 8 chicks were mostly males so got 4 "confirmed" females. Now it looks like I have 2 "for sure" cockrels and 2 "strong maybes" lol. But hey, 8/12 females from straight run is great in my eyes! They are around 4-5 weeks though so we shall see...

Hope you don't mind me butting in here, this thread is interesting to me because I'm trying to figure out the breed of a blue 15 week pullet that I have and quite a few indications are Ameraucana.... My question though about feed stores... My local feed store (I didn't get her from them,) advertises Ameraucana chicks on their chick list throughout chick season. So if they spell it that way, will I get a true Ameraucana or do you still think it cant be all the way trusted - ? I'm very hesitant to order through the mail again as I had an order of Lavender Orpington's go south (respiratory sickness and sexed wrong.) Anyhoo.... I'm already planning next spring chicks for some reason! BTW Daisy is very pretty!!
