Is everyone ready for beautiful fall weather?

I love fall, too. Its the only thing I miss about living north. But I remember even tho fall was so gorgeous, Id get so depressed because the arrival of fall meant the arrival of winter. Blech...I hated it. I adore the winters down here.

I see no one has checked in from the San Francisco bay area so I will. We have had a very cool and foggy summer. Fall usually brings our "summer" weather. Im expecting it to really heat up as I head back to teach school....so you might guess, I dont really look forward to Fall.

well , I guess if I had a choice of fighting with snow and ice or this heat during the summer months , I would prefer to crank up the A/C .

We don't get seasons here.

To me, fall means Santa Ana winds and fires!
Can't we just skip fall and go straight to winter?

I saw this post just as I was thinking "Wow, I feel like people should be trick or treating."
It's not cool, but in Texas, that means nothing. The feeling of Fall is more of a change in the quality of light coming from the sun.
I love Autumn in Texas . . . not cold weather but the trees still lose their leaves, there's the Autumn smells, and everyone starts heading over to Ren Fest.
Now all I need is a bazooka to blast my way through winter to get straight to spring . . .
