Is he a splash?

I'm thinking my BLRW roo is a splash. He has some dark and light feathers in his tail. What do you guys think? He is about 5 months old.

No I wouldn't call him a splash by any stretch, he just seems lightly colored and less definite penciling/lacing, he's still a looker though. I don't like alot of breeds but a good looking well bred BLRW are very nice birds to behold.

Thanks, it was those bluish/black tail feathers that were throwing me off. All I know about him is the mother came from sand hill.

He is a light Blue, the "Splash" will be white including the underdown with some blue or spots of black appearing, not a shade of blue.. he is simply a color cull anyway as his blue is still uneven.
It is no wonder so many state that they hatch Black birds from thier splashes if that is what they are calling a splash.
