Is is okay to feed chickens dog food?

I live in the Rockies, so winters are really tough. I found a great supplement through Rooster Booster that I squirt in a ziplock with leftover steamed veggies from dinner, cat food, dog food, some crumbled bread crusts, and occasionally a bit of crumbled hard boiled or scrambled eggs. Spaghetti noodles are great entertainment too. I know - pampered, right? Well winters are long, and they have not changed their laying habits from beautiful summertime, so it works. There aren't many things they can't eat - generally if they don't like it or don't need it - they won't eat it. (applies to healthy birds)
Good Luck!
