Is it a bad sign for an internal layer/ egg yolk peritonitis?

Update 12/4 late morning- 12/5 morning

Deckie doesn't eat much now although she started to eat 1tsp of oyster shells



12/4 10:00am.







12/4 12:00pm I gave her less than 0.4ml Baytril. She weighed 1,947g.








12/4 2:00pm.







12/4 8:00pm..






12/5 1:00am.





12/5 5:00am.


I think that I will give her Baytril for 2 more days, will be 7 days in total.

My concern is what she doesn't eat much even egg yolks... She eats oyster shells, oats, and some flax seeds.
Now, she is laying down again.

Her weight is 1,955g today.

I didn't give her Baytril. I decided not to do anymore. I was thinking about it all morning..


I took her outside that was 50F for just little bit today. She enjoyed to be out for sure.

Update: 11/5 10:30am.-






I bathed Deckie again. T-T I can't help myself.. She loves it, too.
Deckie's vent is a bit bigger than Bumpy's.who is normal except her crop.






She pooped them out within 30 minutes after taking a bath. What are two brown/greenish poops?






She explored to go to upstairs today. She didn't go yesterday. Is that mean she feels better today? I hope so!





My dog wanted to eat Deckie's treat if she didn't finish it, but she did. I gave him some of them later.





Her vent got dirty today because of the brown/green poops.


She differently eats less for a couple of days.
Hmm.... She is not interested in egg yolk, garlic,and any seeds anymore, neither oats. She pecks her regular food for a play,but not eating.
She does eat 1 tsp oyster shells and some bread.... hmm...

They stay together like that most of the time. I can't fully trust him because he is still 2 years old who may accidentally hurt them, so I let the chickens free when I can watch whole time.

Bumpy laid an egg again. Wow it never happened before. What is wrong with her? She may have an internal layer?

Update: 12/5 evening- 12/6 .. No more antibiotics. Just giving her probiotic and Electrolyte. ( Sav-A-chick)

12/6 6:30am. I see some egg yolk in the poop.



12/6 7:30am. I gave her 1ml garlic water orally using a syringe at 7:00am.



Bath time... I can't stand watching her nothing.. She just sat on for hours and hours for some reason.
She has something to poop out, but can't.. that makes me sad.
Her eyes looks reddish today.



After bath..




Last night,she stood like above all night... she usually lays down though.. I wonder why..

YAY!! I got this! I mixed 1/4tsp the probios with some water. She drank some of it.
So did one of my dogs!.. He loved it. Thanks for telling me about this product, Eggcessive!

Update: 12/6 3pm-12/7

Deckie hasn't eaten much food except oyster shell for 3 days since I stopped giving her Baytril.
The picture below was the only moment that she pecked a couple of solid food, then stopped.

I stopped feeding her yogurt a couple days ago, but I started to give her because that is the only thing that she would like to eat so far.
She was not active today. She wanted to lay down mostly.

I got it at noon.... I gave my 2 chickens at 4:00pm. because I was also sick to get up.
I also have reproductive problems like Deckie has. Sometimes we can't avoid to be healthy when we get old.

12/7 8:45pm.. just runny stool. Of course, she hasn't eaten well.

One of my friends offered me 7 tablets of penicillin 250mg ( Thomas Lavatories ), so I will get them on Monday.
I hope she will feel better..

You are such a trooper. Seriously you are doing everything you can. I've been there and sometimes its all encompassing and it can sap you of energy and takes over.

Remember to look after yourself. Take a little time. It's so very stressful for you and I'm sure Deckie knows how hard you are trying for her.

She's a very lucky girl to gave you x

Thank you for your generous support! Deckie has such a good personality so I really want her to get better.

I never expected that I myself love chicken so much. Sometimes they like to stay on my back or shoulder when they have a chance just like a parrot?

I tried to make a diaper for them but it didn't work. LOL
