Update: 12/8 Deckie 2nd day of Valbazen.




12/8 7:40am.. Very very runny stool. All of her poops are like that today.

Bath time: Her comb doesn't look good today.

She stayed there for 30 minutes.. She looked little better than yesterday.




I got this at PetSmart.


She ate 6 of them. I am glad that she ate some.
Hopefully she will feel better tomorrow.

Update 12/8 8:00pm-12/9

Day 3 of Valbezan.

Deckie craved for more worms. She ate 50 of them from last evening to this morning. She was looking for more..
but I couldn't get them today.

She kept eating yogurt a lot. Sometimes she pecked some of her regular food and oyster shell, but not much.


She was not active again. but not too bad. She was talking to Bumpy who has pendulous chicken.
They usually peck each other through Bumpy's crate.

Her poops are greenish mostly.. She can't digest well... hmm...
Although she knows what she needs to eat for sure. While I was cutting my nails, she was really curious and wanted to eat..
Interesting.. I didn't let her to eat though.. She needs calcium.. but she doesn't est oyster shell.. Why is that?

I believe your suppose to do one dose and another in 10 days. It sounds like you have given her three doses in a row.

I was reading about the dosage of Valbazen for a chicken.

.2ml of the Valbazen per 1000 grams (1kg or 2.2 pounds). Repeat in 10 days.

That is clear!!  I was little cofused last night.
I want to leave this above like that, so I can go back and look before I give her the Valbazen.

I didn't know why I gave them 3 doses in a raw!!
Do I damage my chickens ???

I looked up overdosing chickens with valbazen. I only found that was one who overdose at the day.
I made a mistake, and just keep eye on my chickens.
I will redoes valbazen in 14days, which means 14 days after.
I am worming my dogs too ( 3days in a raw)because they eat the chickens poops sometimes when I am not watching. They love eating poops.

Its hard to know if there is damage, give it 10 days after last dose.

It is supposed to be just once and ten days later, but I seriously doubt that giving it three days in a row did any harm.

Thank you for your help, pwand. They are fine even I overdosed so far. When I looked up one said 14 days later in here. but I just don't know what to do.. so I was about to follow because I didn't have any clue otherwise.
Thy have no problem so far, So I will give them 10 days later.
