Is it a rooster or hen? Or is it too early to tell?

I am new to raising chickens and have researched so much that now I am more confused. We are hoping for hens but think one of them is a rooster... can anyone help? They are 12 weeks so it might be too early. I have a black Australorp, Rhode Island Red, and an ameraucana chicken (this is the one we think is a rooster). Thanks!

Oh no! He is my favorite but it would be hard to keep him because of the crowing in our neighborhood... do you know of any solutions? do all roosters crow?

Yes. All roosters crow. Some are quieter than others, it depends on the bird. You should check and see if you can own roosters where you live and then go from there.
