I think that's a pullet. I have two young Columbians here (one cockerel, one pullet), and yours looks just like the girl.

Im sorry-Im strongly going towards a roo--I have had alot of SLW from a breeder and they ALL turned out to be roos-they matured VERY slowly and took me forever to figure it out-I had ALOT of people tell me I had a breeding pair but nope two roos..I do hope Im wrong for you!!

Oh dear. This is not the gender I'm wanting at all. Well if it's a roo, it's got a very submissive nature. It's the most submissive of all six I have. Well I guess I'll just keep waiting and hoping! Somehow these little feathered friends feed the soul. I love to go and sit out there with them.

I'd like to see what it looks like in a few weeks. I think it's a roo. The back feathers do not look like a pullet.

If it is a roo he might be very sweet like mine is. Hoping it's a pullet but after looking at those very white wing feathers again, I'm afraid I'm leaning towards my first guess of male. Sorry. Still hoping for you though...

Happy new year everyone! Just been taking some new photos of my girls in the garden this evening so thought you might like an update photo on my Wyandotte. I really think its a girl after all but I'm no expert. What do you think? 'She's' about 12 weeks old now.
