Is it fair?

Do you have to count chicks in chicken math?

Tonight DH mentioned something about walmart having a case for his gun cleaning kit, but it was $40!! *him looking at me to see if I thought that was an outrageous amount* (it is!)

Let's see how many chicks equal a $40 plastic box just to keep more gun cleaning supplies in?

mom'sfolly :

Adding to Imp's list

Turkens and modern games don't count
anything smaller than a cat doesn't count
birds that can fly don't count

Wait... I must have missed this day in class... TURKENS DON'T COUNT?

Thank goodness. I was starting to wonder how all those eggs on order were going to fit in my coop. But apparently my turkens don't count. So I'll just keep hatching.

And to the OP: Don't count your chickens before your eggs hatch. It says NOTHING about counting chicks.

LOL ... sorry Linda, you gotta include the chicks.

I just counted mine. I have 7 in the brooder that are my own, 7 outside, so I have 14. I have 2 more in the brooder that I'm brooding for Kalie until they're old enough to go outside since we are already set up for it, so counting her 2, I have 16 here. Plus I have 11 fertile eggs under Olga, 16 in one bator, and 18 in another. There are certain ones of those I will want to keep, and if there are any extras (hopefully there will be), the chicks will be sold.

Who counts?! There are three things you DO NOT COUNT - chickens, guns, and bullets. The only reason I know how many chickens we have is because I can't help knowing, we've got so few! Same goes for guns and bullets. You can never have too many of any of them.

you are supposed to count bullets...gotta know when to reload! Very embarrassing to go click

$40 is bad for a gun cleaning kit box huh...oops
