I don't know, maybe they have been at it for so long, the "caring" feeling has just gone out of them? I do agree, not the way I'd handle them. I just love my little guys tooooo much.

I am a big softie too. I was brought up to love and care for all creatures. That's why we have decided not to buy from hatcheries. It is our decision though and I am not saying don't buy from hatcheries. I just want people to see this so they too can make an informed decision when it comes to their chickens.

wow thats a bit harsh I only watched one video but they were throwing the chicks!!! I barely let my kids handle them because I am afraid they will be too rough, boy was I wrong!
