is it normal for a rooster after he gets into a fight to .............

wayyy to many roos for me I only have one with the big girls and one with the silkies. I would keep him seperate and calm for a week or so. He probably just got his manhood hurt loosing thr throne and all but keep an eye on him.

This very much seems to be whats going on with my cockerel at the moment. I thought he was acting in this way because he'd lost his girlfrind to the other. Now i'm beginning to think its because his ego has been broken. When they first met eachother through a wired fence i seriously thought we'd have a serious fight on our hands when they finally met properly. From the second they were let out together Claud was terrified of Rodney, seems hes no mr tough guy when theres no wire between them both lol. Luckily for him hes smaller then Rodney and has longer legs so Rodney has only managed to catch him a couple of times. I think your two should get used to eachother after a while if theres no injury hes probs just upset hes no longer top dog.
