Is it normal for chicken to huddle up in a corner at night?

Well the last few nights we have been putting all the chickens on the roost when I went out to close them up for the night and last night they were all up there! I was so proud.

Those are pretty barred rocks for your avatar. Do you have one rooster in the bunch? I have three barreds myself but all pullets. Sure wish I had bought one roo when I got them, lol

Mine are about 8 weeks old and sleep huddled in a corner still, I know they can get on the roost because Ive seen them on there multiple times. Im going to give it more time and see if they figure it out on their own.

I know they can get on the roost cause when i go out in the morning they are on it! They are still young we haven't gotten any eggs yet!

They miss the warmth and security of the brooder and are still huddling together for warmth.
