Is it normal to be able to hear your hen breathing ?! Just wanted to rule out any respiratory proble

should I just keep going with the oxy for the full 7 days then ? I'm so worried, I've had nothing but problems ...... i had another hen a little while back get sour crop but i managed to pull her through it .
im so frustrated, i try and do everything right and things keep happening

ok thanks, I've provided oyster shells ( which she ate ) and i'll also give her a tums later today... I'm still not sure what to do about her breathing sounds , when she does get excited or flap her wings she breaths heavily with mouth open on occasion ? and her poop is now runny..... almost every one.
Still no discharge from eyes, nose, mouth, not lethargic, no egg today though....Im really thinking it could be Aspergillosis

any thoughts on that ?

Have you checked her crop?

Do you keep oyster shells out for them all the time and grit on demand?

yes her crop fills and empty's normally and yes i always provide oyster shells (free choice) . i just didn't give her any since i brought her inside on March 5... i didn't know what i was dealing with at the time ( well i still don't

???) I have ketoconazole suspension still from when my other hen had sour crop , do you think i should use it ( if it is Aspergillosis) ???

so I've been letting her out of the dog crate during the day so she has the bathroom to roam.... i just looked in on her she is back in the dog create(door open) looking like she needs to lay an egg but she seems very panicked , mouth open, breathing heavily ????!!!! weird , maybe it is a egg problem ,errrrrrrr i don't know !!!!!!!!

I wouldn't treat unless your sure what she has. To much stuff will mess up the system. The diarrhea could be from the antibiotics killing good bacteria. Give her probiotics in the water or food. I have no experience with respiratory. Only from what I have read. Unfortunately I can't help with the respiratory stuff.

she seems to be having a really hard time , scratching and biting at the towel and turning around a lot. poor girl , i don't know how to help her

Can you take her out to the coop to see if she goes into the nest box to lay? Did you give her a calcium tablet or tums?
