no feather duster, but I do have hay and a broom which I think is kind of similar.Stoves in America - most common is electricity, second is gas stoves, then there are wood-burning stoves. Often folks convert their fireplace to gas fireplace or wood-burning stove fireplace instead of an open hearth.
Do you have a feather duster? I know some folks use those to let the chicks huddle under it, like a momma chicken. It would be a good addition to a huddle box or hot water bottle, to keep the heat around the chicks.
4 day old chicks need about 90F temperature available.
