Is it ok to feed quail day old bread? like ends of a loaf of regular bread:/

It really won't have any nutritional value for them, but a little shouldn't hurt them. That's not all you're feeding them, though, right??

Will not hurt them, but keep gamebird feed in front of them 24/7. Could help by giving them something to do rather than pecking on each other,

I give my valley quail bread crumbles every once in a while.

My quail loke the veggie mix I give the parrots every morning. They are learning that fruit is yummy, too. lol

Here is how I see it, and I could always be totally wrong, but for any species of quail....20%-30% protein game bird feed=GOOD! Optimal IMHO
16-24% protein chicken feed=OK. Marginal IMHO

White/wheat/ any over processed grains and anything called bread/pasta/brand muffins= EVIL!!!
If you can't find or afford 35 cent a pound Game bird feed, or high protein chicken feed, then please don't try to make game bird feed out of stale bread,cat food and meal worms. All of those are way more expensive than a good quality bird feed.

Please repeat after me...White bread+any animal=PURE EVIL! It's not even good for humans!
