Is it okay to release these ducks?

Not sure if call ducks are native to the area, if they are that'd be something under their authority

How can I know if they are native or not ? I live in Quebec Canada

Calls are a domestic breed. They're no different than hookbilled, pekins or swedish

Ah k, I was confusing them with something else then. In that case just rehome them

Agreed, do NOT release them. These are domestic ducks, not wild ducks. They depend on humans to live. Find them a new home if you can’t keep them.

No. They would still have been raised by humans and wouldn't have the skills needed to survive. Never release any animal raised by humans

Depending on if they were bred or not by people. If they came from a hatchery, then it's questionable since they were made by humans imo, and marked as such

Also should mention it's illegal to release domesticated animals in most places. Depending on the area this usually also including wild animals that are kept domestically like mallards
