Yesterday at about 6 i went to the local farmers market for an egg to hatch they said yes and now i have one. When i bought it i was going to use it for merengues i was 1 egg short using 2 store bought eggs, but a question came to mind and i looked it up and it seemed possible eanoughf.i then read a similar articol on hear exept she had kept it in her bra im keeping it under my arm in a cotton bag to help not break it.Hopefully it hatches im also undercovers all the time so fingers crossed will keep updated.

I also read about the lady who hatched in her bra, but I think the egg was about ready to hatch anyway. Have you candled it to see how far along it is?

Why don't you just build or buy an incubator.

1. Your skin temperature is not high enough.

2. Even if you are able to produce enough heat, the likelihood of keeping that egg consistently warm under your arm without breaking it is very poor.

3. The arm pit is a cess pool of bacteria, and a moist place. Moisture may be good for the egg, but the bacteria your skin harbors would not be good for the egg. And the egg has it's own surface bacteria that could make you very ill in this situation.

4. An egg incubated at less than ideal temp, even if the embryo is to develop, is likely to have congenital abnormalities due to inadequate temp when body systems are being laid down.

5. Even if you are successful, chickens are flock animals and need others of their species in order to function well.
