yeah, i'm going to clean out my bator now - no reason to waste electricity since i figure even the marans must be scrambled or detached egg cells...

the seller didn't put "hatching eggs" on the box, just fragile on all four sides of the box - guess that didn't mean anything to them...and figure also, had she put "hatching eggs", that would have been more of an incentive for them to play hot potato!

My seventh set of shipped eggs got that kind of treatment, 10 ruptured air sacs out of 12 eggs. And the two intact sacs were detached. None developed (last I checked, I left the two in the bator but didn't see a thing at day 6). The previous 6 shipments didn't have a single ruptured sac and only 2 detached. Very strange.
Oh well, at least they weren't really expensive or a variety I was super invested in.
