Is it safe to buy eggs to hatch?

Is there a danger the eggs or chicks that hatch could make my hens sick?

My opinion is that no they won't make your hens sick if you hatch them yourself. When they hatch they will only be exposed to the same as your hens are already exposed to. Would be different if you had bought chicks from someone else's flock. All my eggs have been bought and incubated at home and I've never had trouble with any sick birds from introducing my home incubated birds.
