Is it safe to keep newly hatched with weeks old chicks?

I’m figuring I’ll have to have a desperate area for the newly hatched chick I’m getting. I was wondering if he’d be safe with the other chicks I have, which will be a few weeks old at that point. I kind of think they’ll end up killing him.

Bad idea to put newborns in with chicks even a few weeks old, as they can easily get knocked down or trampled or pushed away from food and water. You can still use the same brooder space, if there's enough room, but best to have a divider of some sort to split the space but allow the chicks to see each other, and give the younger one a week or so to get stronger and get used to the others, and then you can try letting them spend time together with supervision and go from there.
