Is it weird to sing to your chickens?

I just talk to our hens like I talk to adults, although I must say I adopt a disciplinary tone with our girls. They are such treat hooligans!

I don't sing to them. If they heard my singing voice, they'd find a way to break through hardware cloth to escape.
