Is it wrong . . . EDIT: Check out page 3 for discovery!

Im new to chicken farming but I think I would take her to the Vet before I put her down. If the vet checked her and couldnt find anything then I would put her down and have her tested. It would be terrible to put her down for something like a vitamin defenciency.

As I said earlier, I knew it would be a tough subject when I posted it, but I really felt it was necessary.

Well, I called around and got referred to CAHFS at UC Davis Veterinary Medicine program. It is after hours now, but tomorrow I will call and hopefully they can do the test.

Yes, I feel the same way, BamaSilkies. I've done some research and found out there is a test that exists for Marek's that does not require a post-mortem, and I'm working on finding someone who can do it.
