Hi all, I have a lavender Aracauna orAmericauna (?) named Jeff (thank the kids for the name lol) that is now 11 weeks old. I'm wondering if anyone can help if he is in fact a he, or a she. He has ways been very friendly, coming up for cuddles but since introducing about 9 new mixed breeds in the coop, he has become their little mother hen, looking out for them all, but also shows signs of dominance to some of the older new chicks. I've not had this breed before. The photo on my arm was taken a few weeks ago now, the one in the grass was only a few days ago. Any help on the gender?

It looks to me like a hen given the size and color of the comb and the tail feathers don't look too extravagant. But it might be to soon, not sure.

Hope I could help! And it looks like the breed is Easter Egger!

Id say pullet.
If you are in the U.K, Jeff is an Araucana, if not then she is an Easter Egger.
