This is Mannie. He is a Royal Palm Poult. I had 2, but something got one. He was 7 Weeks Old, when I got him. From my research. This Saturday on July 14th, he/she will be 13 weeks old.

When the smaller one was alive, Mannie would strut and Gobble. But his looks still don't convince me. Are we a Tom or a Hen?

P.S. I know the issues with chickens and turkeys. But he/she got to big for the pen I had him in. I am trying to get the big pen from my sister's house.

If it gobbles, it's a tom. Hens don't gobble. Strutting doesn't matter, both sexes will strut. Watch the breast feathers, RP toms will develop black edges but hens will remain white.

My guess would be a Hen but at 7 weeks it would be a crap shoot.

I from N/W Arkansas does your area have trouble with black head if there's not you should keep the one turkey with your Chickens if you don't have other turkeys.
Turkeys need other birds even chickens they are very social animals.

I have raised chics with my Poults and there has been nothing but positive things come from it.
