Is my Araucana a rooster??

These chicks are 5 months old. It seems like it should be clear because they are pretty different, but the one that I suspect to be a male has never made a peep... I've attached pictures of both. I am new at this so I'd love any feedback

How can everyone be so sure they are pullets? We have 2 Araucanas and 1 started out the morning at 6am crowing, scaring us to death. It's the first time it has happened. We were for sure they were both pullets. How can I tell the difference to be sure if it is a male or not?
