Pics are very dark so hard to see detail, but looks like a pullet to me.

The age could help, but usually in barred birds the females patterns will be splotchy and all over the place, and the males pattern will be nice a straight lines. I’m guessing pullet

I’d say it’s a pullet. The comb is pretty small, and cockerels generally have finer and more regular barring, as Crazy4chickensnducks stated.
