Is my Black Australorp chick is a rooster?

So I’m wondering if my Black Australorp chick is a rooster?

We have 28 chickens and we’ve never had a rooster before. We have 9 chicks that are about 2 months older. This chick is much bigger then the rest of them and it’s comb and waddles are forming much faster then the rest of the chicks! We do have another Black Australorp chick and she doesn’t look anything like the other. So can anyone help me out!

That only works for older birds. With this much comb and wattle at this age he is definitely a cockerel. A male may not yet have visible pointed feathers.
