She may be a male, but some hens are rooster feathered, but watch for crowing. I still think that he/she probably has Marek'so disease

Ok will do. Is this a male?I would mix 1/2 tsp of Corid powder in 2 tsp water and give that directly into your sick chicks mouth as soon as you get it. Give him a jump start.
I have NEVER seen a rooster feathered hen.She may be a male, but some hens are rooster feathered, but watch for crowing. I still think that he/she probably has Marek'so disease
I bought corid powder for my flock... I have older girls and new chicks about 7 weeks, can I give all of them the Corid?Treatment for coccidosis: 1 1/2 tsp of Corid powder mixed into 1 gallon of water. Make that the only source of water and make a new batch every day for 5-7 days. Don't give vitamins during Corid treatment. Yes at TSC
Thank you...Corid is safe for all. Dosage for poultry is about one teaspoon of powder per gallon of water.
