Is my duck egg alive?

I would not give up on it - I have read a number of times hatchers being surprised by an iffy looking egg that made it.

Have you checked in on any of the Duck Forum hatching threads?

Usually if you still see veins, it should be ok, just resting. This late, ducks are lazy They fill up the egg and sometimes you just can't see the movement. I'd say give it a little more time.
Also suggest smelling the egg. If its bad, you will know it! Otherwise, just leave it in.

I just checked it again. I was not moving. So its is ok? Also, when do they start to pip exteranlly

I'm not saying its definitely ok, but it likely could be.
You're on day 24 now? If these are regular ducks (not Calls or muscovys) they should start pipping around day 26. Keep in mind that's just a general guideline. Could be a day or two before or after. If your temps have been high, they could hatch early. Low temps cause delays, so it depends on how stable your temps have been. Also keep in mind that they can take well over 24 hours from first pip to doing their zip. 40+ hours is not unheard of.

5 Rouen, 4 pekin. 1 pekin was infertile. 1 Rouen died
