I found a duck egg while we were fishing. I am trying to see if we have a live duck egg or not I've been researching and trying to incubate on my own. So can anyone help me and tell me if my egg is alive or not? and if me using a heating pad is the right way to incubate?

I have it for 3 days but I just had it wrapped in a jacket and put in my closet for a day and a half and then I got the heating pad and egg crate and thermometer strip after researching what all I needed to care for it to hatch.

It could have just not started developing yet, but I agree with the others it looks infertile. If you found it while fishing it probably was carried off by something to be eaten. It also is probably a wild duck egg, and it is illegal to have them

Anyone know where I can get 2 baby chickens instead of a duck?? I live in hemet, CA.
