Is my duck messing with my head?

Pics
Hemmie is acting suspiciously like she's getting ready to lay another egg! They got to swim in their pool outside today, since it was nice and sunny, and Downey was working the camera. Hemmie had to get some good poses in too, of course. :lau

Nice pics, my three young ones are exploring the pond in the mornings then retreat to the safety of the open fenced area. Our drake is chasing them all the time.

I’d love to see this breed in person. Are they as tiny or finer than a Call?
They like new friends! Especially anyone with romaine lettuce! Lol
I tried to weigh them once by holding them on our scale, but it didn't work. Hemmie is about 8 inches long, and Downey is about 9 and 1/2. Her body is about 3 inches at its widest, and his is about 3 and 1/2.

They are precious little ones!
They are so small:eek:

Thanks! :love It helps explain why I primarily house them inside. It's easy to give them plenty of space where they feel comfy and safe, and I know they're not getting accosted by every predator on the food chain. Even the local cats are bigger than they are! Their space is by huge windows, so they get lots of sun, and they get outside time in their pool. I'm working on a bigger, secure outdoor run for them during spring and summer, but I'll still supervise all their outside time. They are supposed to be a little bigger than calls, but I think they're about the same size! I still grind their food to a very coarse powder, because the starter crumbles were just too big. They get chick sized grit, too!
I love my mischievous littles, thanks for letting me share all about them with y'all! :love:love:love I still think Hemmie has an egg on deck. :jumpy
