Hey everyone!
This is my showgirl Eloise. I’ve had her (?) since the beginning of June, and she was already about 4-5 weeks old when I brought her home. She definitely hasn’t tried crowing, but I’m noticing all the red on her face and it makes me wonder if those are rooster characteristics starting to show? I know different breeds develop at different paces, this is my first time with a showgirl so I wasn’t sure.
A breeder told me it was impossible to distinguish pullet and cockerel silkies/showgirls without a DNA test… not sure if that’s a matter of fact or opinion, but I figured y’all might have an idea!
