Is my hen actually a rooster…

So roughly 5 months old now… hasn’t started crowing but she just seems bigger then my other older hen… I’ve had a roster before and it’s comb and wattle where a lot bigger and redder then this on by 3 months of age so I’m a bit confused

I understand you confusion completely..

I see pointy saddle feathers and they DON'T lie. I'm also going with cockerel.. (the technical term for roosters under a year old)

He is just late maturing.. plenty of boys have played coy with no crowing or mating way past a year old even.

Hope I'm wrong.. and most the other posters too!

Ok, now I get it & see the "points" ... There's another post with another "cockerel" in question that is probably another "late bloomer".
