I have 2.5 acres in a rural area. Ticks are a major problem, plus I'm starting to get very into raising poultry, so I thought guineas would be a logical next step.
But, my front yard abuts a major road. From what I've read, guineas and roads do not mix. The area I'll be keeping them (if at all) would be at the back of my property as far away from the road as possible, but I'd like them to free range to handle the tick problem.
Am I simply in a no go zone for guinea, of should I be able to keep them without major problems?
