Is my mallard female or male?!

Got this cutie June 5. So she/he is just about 7 weeks old.
I read somewhere that at this point, both male & female mallards can have a greenish sheen to their heads?.. is this true?!
Would love to hear your guesses!
We have been calling “her” Lillian hahaha

Was gonna say that also but been awhile since I've had mallards and couldn't remember exactly which way the color was for each sex. Glad I didn't because I had it backwards.

Change Lillian to Lyle. Females have black and orange bills-drakes have a greenish bill in mallards. Sex can also be verified by sound. At seven weeks a Lillian would have a fairly/very loud peepy quack where a Lyle would have far less volume to it and be a hissy raspy sound; not at all like a real quack. Only the female quacks loud.

Both males and females have a light greenish sheen to the black on their heads when light hits it when they are young.

i’m gonna say male because of the bill color, but one of my girls actually looked like a boy when she was young
