Hey guys,
1. I am new at this
2. I have been storing my feed in a shed (in NC where summers are hot)
3. The galvanized trash can where I keep feed hasn't sweated on me but the air temp inside the closed up shed is very warm (like an attic) on hot days.
4. Is this going to cause spoilage? I just assumed lots of people keep their supplies in outbuildings, barns, garages, etc. as long as they can keep them in varmint proof containers.

thanks!!

I think what I've read is if it is quite warm/hot in there, you want to use up the feed soon, 2-4 weeks. You don't want feed sitting in a hot place all summer long. You can also minimize this by making sure your galvanized container also never makes contact with direct sun.

Thank you! It is way too much then. I should probably put the big can somewhere indoors and only keep a few weeks at a time.
