What kind of bird is it? This was one of my australorp male at 15 weeks. Ended up having 8 and having to rehome.

Yours doesn't have as well-developed comb or waddle - but those saddle feathers look like a boy to me.

The comb looks pea to me. So would also explain for the lack of wattles

I was thinking it was an Australorp - but that explains it. Coloring was similar. Still agree - it looks like a Cockerel though.

Its a pea comb looking at the picture. But those are male specific saddle feathers for sure.
