What kind of bird is it? This was one of my australorp male at 15 weeks. Ended up having 8 and having to rehome.
Yours doesn't have as well-developed comb or waddle - but those saddle feathers look like a boy to me.
It's a black orpington.. looks like 4 out of 5 orpingtonz are Roos.out of 10 mixed, we have 6 Roos now to re home.
Don't know much about pea combs but our black birds are in fact orpingtonsOrpingtons don't have pea combs

Orpingtons have single combs. They never have pea combs.Don't know much about pea combs but our black birds are in fact orpingtons

He never grew a comb or waddle like his brother. He looks just like his hen sister. Ah well, looks like we have more on the give away list. He's super sweet anyway.
