Is my she a he?

It's a black orpington.. looks like 4 out of 5 orpingtonz are Roos. 😞 out of 10 mixed, we have 6 Roos now to re home.
What kind of bird is it? This was one of my australorp male at 15 weeks. Ended up having 8 and having to rehome.

Yours doesn't have as well-developed comb or waddle - but those saddle feathers look like a boy to me.

This was a few weeks ago... don't tell me any more Roos's please! Lol they are white and lavender cochins.

Don't know much about pea combs but our black birds are in fact orpingtons
Orpingtons have single combs. They never have pea combs.
Any chicken with a pea comb is not an Orpington.
A chicken with a pea comb might be an Orpington-mix, but it cannot be a pure Orpington.

Is this one of the birds you meant? (He is mostly black but not entirely black, so I was not sure if you meant him or not.)

He never grew a comb or waddle like his brother. He looks just like his hen sister. Ah well, looks like we have more on the give away list. He's super sweet anyway.
This one has a pea comb. He is not an Orpington.
