Is possible to get a cockerel from the pullet section?

I recently got pullets from TS, and I was wondering if it was possible to get a cockerel from the pullet section? (Not saying that I do)

Absolutely! When the hatcheries sex the chicks, they are never 100% accurate, especially with some breeds. What breed/s did you get???

I am not really sure, but I think I got 1 white leghorn, 1 EE, maybe two red sex links or rhode island reds, but the other two I am not sure of. (please don't judge I am really new to chicks)

Yes, it happens all the time. Sometimes, people have claimed they got ALL cockerels from the pullet section. You will see a multitude of posts over the next few months from people with cockerels that were supposed to be pullets.

That isn't Tractor Supplys fault but it happens at all the places that sells chicks.

Tractor Supply has been know to give you the wrong chicks so you may not have what you think you have. Post a pic of them.

Sex linked birds are the closest you can get to guaranteed girls (though my old feed store changed the sign to 99.9%, just in case they somehow had a male slip through). Sexed pullets are about 90% accurate (from hatchery). Issue once you get to feed store level (and some TSCs are famous for this) is that chicks might be placed by employees (or customers) into wrong bins, so if you don't know exactly what to look for, you might get sexed birds of one breed mixed with straight run of another, and in that case you might get well over the 10% odds of accidental cockerels.

Yeah add me to the TSC club of cockerels lol 3 out of my 4 pullets I got there are male.

No judgement in this place. Think most of us have gotten mystery chicks before.
Definitely possible. Could be hatchery or store really. But aside from sex link the odds are 90%
