Is possible to get a cockerel from the pullet section?

Not at a tsc but was at a farm store that just had gotten a shipment of chicks. Watched the store person put Easter egger pullets in a bin then take and put a box full of pan fry specials in the same bin. Told employee that that was a mistake that she mixed all roos with all hens with no divider. There reply was it's just chicks they are all the same. Just shook my head and walked off.

Same store several years ago wanted roos so bought 8 out of pan fry bin. Got 6 hens.
