Is raw pork okay?

I just finished trimming some fat and the bones away from some country style pork ribs. I have read that the carcass of a deer was given to some chickens. Is it okay to give my girls raw pork meat or any other meat for that matter?

I wouldn't feed raw pork for fear of worms. Hogs are notorious for being tapeworm carriers.

Cooked is fine.

I feed raw pork to my and never saw a problem but I do worm my bird on a schedule.

Yes, cooking it to 165* F will kill all bacteria and worms.

I have read here that raw meat is given to chickens unless I am not understanding what I read. If someone is giving a dear carcass to their chickens I am assuming it is raw. I could be wrong and it would not be the first time. This is why I ask before I do something that does not feel right. Just like giving them chicken to eat just doesn't seem right.

The other misinformation I received (from people that I know

that I no longer listen to) before BYC is you do not give them protein because they will become aggressive, THEY EAT LIZARDS how is that not protein? Feed ONLY scratch and what ever left overs you may have. I was also told that I had my girls spoiled feeding them all the veggies that I do along with their food. When I followed the scratch only rule they went on strike immediately not one egg was given till I was put in my place here at BYC that was when I stopped stalking.
