Is She a He?

@TomNY please don’t post things that are unhelpful, rude, or off topic. Your messages were completely unreasonable and do not help to solve the problem OP was asking about.

Hey all!
And again, we got more chicks than I wanted because my husband is an idiot 🤦‍♀️
Of the 12 we got, one of them has super short secondary feathers.
Hoping she's a late bloomer 🤞
She also doesn't have even a smidgen of a sign of a comb coming through. I have her side-by-side with 1 of the other silver babies in comparison. She's the bottom one

To answer your question, feather sexing is notoriously inaccurate, unless, as others have posted, the chicks are bred for that specific purpose. I'd wait and post pictures again in about 4-5 weeks. Should be some clear indicators at that point.

1: I don't have to explain myself to you.
2: My husband and I are BOTH idiots for reasons that are none of your business.

Thank you for your "insight"

Of course you don't have to explain yourself or share things that are your business. You might do well to remember, however, that this is a public forum and just as you do not have to explain yourself, other posters are free to interpret what you said and take offense to it. I'm sure you can understand why it may offend some here that you called your husband an idiot for getting more chickens some of us, myself included, struggle heavily with the demon that is "chicken math".
