Is she FRIZZLING?! *3 Week Update Pg. 3!!*

Just thought I'd give an update. Please remember, these chicks are the SAME age (3 weeks)and both are standards!!!

Your little chicks look just like my 8 of my baby frizzle chicks did at that age (only mine were cochin frizzles and smaller than yours)! Congrats they're really cute. Out of 10 I ended up with 2 straight feathered, 1 curly, and 7 frizzled.

I believe the cochin is a straight-feathered bird, but thank you for the compliment!

It's not a frizzle, those lines are fret marks.

I don't know the difference between frizzle and fret marks, so I can't comment as to what I think, other than they are both so darn cute!

You're little cochin reminds me of my salmon faverolle chicks. A couple of my SF girls are tiny compared to my Delaware and Jersey Giant Chicks...all hatched the same day. They are 10 days old and my SFs will run up behind the larger chicks, duck slightly and run between the larger chicks legs!

Scares the daylights out of the unsuspecting chick!

I'm shooting photos today any way so I'll drag the 3 week old sizzles out in the sun and shoot em. Mine are on game starter so they're very very feathered out at this point. If yours is a natural frizzle then you should see curl in the shoulder feathers and thighs pretty soon.

Of course with a sport you might just get an incomplete frizzle, not quite the frizz you get from developed lines.

(And I'm making you look at more pictures of George too, so there.)

I like his/her attitude a lot, cute fuzzkid.
