Is split wing genetic

Hey I have a Silkie hen with a split wing I am still keeping her as a pet but wanted to know if I breed her with my Silkie roo if she will carry the split wing to her offspring

Yep, it's a genetic trait that she could pass on to her offspring. A bird with split wing shouldn't be bred (unless of course it's a Ko Shamo, which are supposed to have it).
