My two drakes have a lot of »fun« with their 15 ducks and yesterday, when i was about to scramble three duck-eggs for dinner i noticed a pale yellow spot on their yolks. Is that a bulls-eye?

I see three bullseyes. We eat all our fertile eggs. The way I see it, the only difference between a fertile or non-fertile egg is the amount of DNA in that cell, in the white dot. Both are technically “alive” but one has twice as much DNA as the other since it has moms and dads. That egg cell doesn’t go through cell division until it is incubated.
